We started off with complimentary bread and pate. I couldn't summon enough courage to try the pate, but my husband tried it and said it was really good.
Next came the complimentary popovers (they even give a cute little card with the recipe!). These were pretty good.
For my entree I ordered the Confit Lemon-Rosemary Chicken.
It was a really generous serving of chicken and it was moist and flavorful.
Everything at BLT Steak is a la carte, so along with my chicken I ordered the Spicy BBQ Kahuku Corn (really good and really spicy) and the Bleu Cheese Tater Tots, which are basically croquettes stuffed with Bleu Cheese (I thought these were okay - they were nice and crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, but it lacked a lot of flavor).
My husband ended up ordering the Pre-Fixe Blackboard Menu Dinner (3 courses for $70).
He started off with the Kampachi Crudo, which he loved.
His main course consisted of Kulana Ranch Tenderloin and Roasted Brussels Sprouts. He loved everything!
For dessert, we were given complimentary petit fours of Chocolate Espresso Brownies (delicious!).
My husband ordered the Peanut Butter Chocolate Mousse with Banana Ice Cream, and it was really, really good.
Our server, Edward, was awesome. At first I was little worried about the service, because when he first introduced himself and started to talk about the menu, he spoke incredibly fast, as if he were rushed, but it turns out he was just so knowledgable and passionate about the restaurant and the food. He was a wonderful server.
Everyone at the restaurant provided great service, and the food was great (especially the desserts!). We had a wonderful Pre-Valentine's Day dinner!
