So I did the same - I cut the crust off some PB&J sandwiches, cut them into squares, and put them on skewers (I also made some on lollipop sticks) with some banana slices.
My 2 older boys loved it, but my youngest didn't care for the fun presentation.
But I'll continue to make them. They're such a cute way to eat PB&J!
Peanut Butter and Jelly Skewers (credit/adapted from A Whisk and Two Wands)
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 T peanut butter
- 2 T jelly
- 4 slices of banana
- 1 miniature peanut butter cup
- Bamboo skewer or lollipop stick
- Spread peanut butter and jelly on one slice of bread; top with other slice of bread
- Cut crusts off bread and cut sandwich into four squares
- Thread alternating sandwich squares and banana slices onto skewer
- Finish off skewer with peanut butter cup
