In addition to eating them as is, I love to make Peanut Butter Cup Cookies with them, and this is my favorite recipe (from AllRecipes.com).
Peanut Butter Cup Cookies (credit AllRecipes.com)
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 c flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 1/2 c white sugar
- 1/2 c peanut butter
- 1/2 c packed brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 2 T milk
- 40 miniature peanut butter cups, unwrapped
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Combine the flour, salt and baking soda; set aside.
- Mix the butter, sugar, peanut butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla and milk.
- Add the flour mixture; mix well.
- Scoop by teaspoonfuls and place into a prepared mini muffin tin (I used cooking spray).
- Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 8 minutes.
- Remove from oven and immediately press a mini peanut butter cup into each ball.
- Cool and carefully remove from pan.
