Ichiriki Japanese Nabe Restaurant - Kaneohe

My husband received a gift card to Ichiriki Japanese Nabe Restaurant over a year ago, and he finally got to use it when we dined at the Kaneohe location - his first time ever at any Ichiriki.

My husband ordered the Angry Goma Nabe, which is made with jalapeno and habanero peppers.

He said it wasn't really that spicy, but he still enjoyed it.

I thought the kids meals were a deal - four dollars for rice, edamame, corn, chicken, and sausages.

Since I'm not much of a nabe eater, whenever I go to Ichiriki I eat the Tofu Salad and Chicken Karaage.  They were both delicious and filling as usual.

Our server was very friendly and helpful, but because it was fairly busy, he forgot to bring my husband's ramen, and he forgot to charge us for the kids meals - things we had to bring to his attention.

However, we could totally understand how things may have slipped his mind since he had a lot of tables to service.

We would definitely visit this location again, and my husband is glad he finally got to try Ichiriki!
