La Tour Cafe

I've been wanting to try La Tour Café for a while now, and finally had a chance to when I, along with my youngest son, met Hawaii Mom Blog contributor Nat there for lunch recently.

From top left clockwise: Pomme Frites, Turkey and Sundried Tomato Panini, Macarons, Chicken Pesto Pizza

From top left clockwise: Bluberry Cheesecake Macaron, Strawberry Macaron, Red Velvet Macaron, Chocolate Ooze Cake Macaron, Mint Chocolate Macaron, Chocolate Macaron.



I thought the Panini was really good (my son loved it too).  I thought the pizza was just "okay," but my son really liked it.

Of course, no visit to La Tour Café would be complete without dessert.

They're known for their macarons, but I ended up getting the Chocolate Ooze Cake.  Nat and I ate it "as is" without it being heated (therefore no chocolate oozing out), but it was still good. 

I'm glad I finally got to try La Tour Café, and next time I'll be sure to ask for the Chocolate Ooze cake to be heated!
