Utage Restaurant and Lounge

I recently met a friend for dinner at Utage Restaurant and Lounge, a small restaurant in Kalihi that offers good food and great value.

Nasubi (Eggplant) Chanpuru with Tofu, Green Onions, and Shoyu Pork

Complete meals average $14, and include Tsukemono, Soup or Salad, a beverage (Green River, Fruit Punch, Iced Tea, hot Japanese Tea, or Coffee), and Dessert. 

I had the Chicken Karaage which was very tasty, and very filling.  I never had a Green River before so wanted to try it, and it was a bit too sweet for me.  The ice cream was delicious!

Utage is a great place to have a nice dinner at a reasonable price!
