Visit Portland: Fifty Licks

After dinner with a friend in Portland one evening, she suggested we go to Fifty Licks for handmade ice cream, and being the ice cream-lover that I am, I couldn't wait to try the place out!

Although I was a bit disappointed in the lack of available flavors (I really wanted to try the Blood Orange Creamsicle), I enjoyed the Tahitian Vanilla.  It was VERY delicious, and even my husband thought so too, especially for a "non-adventurous"-type flavor.

The ice cream is a bit on the pricey side, but the service was great, and it was definitely a nice spot to indulge in some ice cream.
