Highway Inn - Kaka`ako

I've been wanting to try Highway Inn for a while now, and after running some errands in town recently our family decided to have breakfast for lunch at the Kaka`ako location.

The food at Highway Inn was SO GOOD!

I had the fried rice, and it was so flavorful - I ate the entire thing!

My husband loved the Smokin' Moco, and my kids devoured the pancakes (two of my kids really enjoyed dipping the pancakes in the Haupia Sauce).

There were not too many desserts available in the display case, but there was one that really caught the attention of my kids - the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwich.

Even though it looked like a rather simple dessert, it was really yummy - especially the peanut butter filling!

Service was great and so was the food.

I can't wait to go back and hopefully next time there will be more dessert options!
