Known for its famous 36-ingredient broth and an extensive menu of fresh, high quality meat, vegetable, and seafood options, Little Sheep Mongolia Hot Pot has over 300 locations worldwide.
I was fortunate to attend a media preview last night, where we served Little Sheep's most popular dishes.
Clockwise from top left:
- Five Spice Edamame
- Yam Mochi with Red Bean Filling
- Plum, Vanilla, and Mango Ice Cream
- Sauce Bar
- Sesame Pancake
- Supreme Angus Beef
- Passion Fruit Green Tea
- Clockwise from top left: Tong Ho (Chrysanthemum Greens), Enoki Mushrooms, Scallops, Fresh Thick Noodle, House Shrimp Balls, Sponge Tofu, Napa Cabbage; Center from L to R: Beef Tripe, Fish Balls with Roe, Mini Pork Sausage
- House Lamb Wontons
- USDA Choice Ribeye
- Mongolian Kimchi
- Dipping Sauce
The broths were so flavorful, and the spicy broth was indeed spicy.
It's no wonder why the Sesame Pancake is such a popular dish - crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside.
The Sponge Tofu, House Shrimp Balls, Fish Balls with Roe, and Noodles were my favorite hot pot selections.
And the ice creams were all so delicious and refreshing.
The servers were very friendly and enthusiastic, aiming to please and answering any questions we had.
For those who are not too familiar with hot pot dining, a handy Cooking Instructions card is on each table to help you get the most out of your experience.
