Tokoname Sushi Bar & Restaurant - Manoa

After finding ourselves in the Manoa area recently, we decided to have lunch at Tokoname Sushi Bar & Restaurant.

The eggplant and all of the chicken dishes were great.  My husband and I really enjoyed the Furikake Chicken the most.  The California Roll was good as well.

The kids really liked the desserts.  I thought they were okay - I guess I'm just not used to eating tempura desserts.

The place was empty when we arrived (we were the first ones seated), but it got crowded rather quickly.  Although it took a while for the food to come and we had to tell our server she forgot to add both our desserts to our bill, she was very sweet and friendly.

I would definitely come back because I thought the food and service were both great, but next time I'll stick to plain ice cream for dessert.
