Holoholo Bar and Grill Now Serving Brunch!

I cannot get enough of brunch so when I heard that Holoholo Bar and Grill started serving brunch on the weekends (8am-3pm), I told my dad we were taking him there for Father's Day because I am such a great daughter and not because I needed plenty people to order all the dishes I wanted to try.

The adults had the brisket hash, s'macka moco, veggie omelet, local staple, and the monte cristo bennie.  The kids had the corn dog muffins and toasted coconut pancakes.  We shared the poached apple toss salad and the cheesy crab bread.

All the dishes were tasty, but we especially enjoyed the salad and the bread.  Order them!  My dad's monte cristo was really yummy and I loved the toasted coconut pancakes.  They were so fluffy and topped with a chocolate drizzle and vanilla anglaise.

If you think we didn't have room for one of their awesome desserts, you have got to get to know us better!  We had the apple pie, ala mode of course!  It was delicious!  Hoping to go back and again to check out more of their dessert selection.  I've seen some of their desserts on their IG feed and they look amazing!

The restaurant space is nice and bright, open and clean.  They are located on Beretania street, across of Longs and there is plenty of parking.  It's also great that there are two sides to the restaurant, a bar to your left as you walk in and the restaurant on your right.  Don't forget to sign in your car.

The super yummy cheesy crab bread is house made focaccia bread topped with crab and artichoke dip.

The Poached apple toss salad is fresh greens tossed in a light lemon and apple juice reduction and topped with blue cheese and nut stuffed poached apple with sliced chicken. Yum!!

Inside the vegetarian omelet are sautéed mushrooms, kale, tomato, onions, green onions and Swiss cheese.

The brisket hash is their sake braised brisket mixed with potato and onion and served with two eggs, any way you like 'em.

Here's my local staple: 2 eggs and choice of meat. Bacon of course! And I subbed for fried rice.

The Monte Cristo Bennie is ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese sandwich dredged in a savory custard sauce and grilled and topped with an over easy egg and accompanied with a lemon hollandaise sauce. Drooling yet?

The super fluffy toasted coconut pancakes were a big hit!

Corn dog muffin and fries make a yummy kids meal. Don't worry, we fed them eggs and bacon as well!

And for dessert, apple pie ala mode. The pie was big enough to share.
