The recipe is pretty versatile - you can use just about any candies you want. I wish I had more of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for the recipe since it's my favorite candy, but I ate most of them when I was digging through my kids' candy stash the day after Halloween.
The cookie pie itself was quite yummy though, and the candies made it that much more delicious.
Candy Cookie Pie (recipe credit Averie Cooks)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c butter (1 stick), melted and cooled to room temperature
- 1 large egg
- 1 c brown sugar, packed
- 1 T vanilla extract
- 1/3 c creamy peanut butter
- 1 c flour
- Assorted candies (I used 3 mini packs of Peanut M&M's and 5 mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Spray a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray.
- Combine the melted butter, egg, brown sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla in medium bowl. Mix until smooth.
- Add the flour, and stir until just combined.
- Pour batter out into prepared pie dish.
- Insert candies into dough.
- Bake for about 25 to 27 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
