Visit Lana'i: The Terrace at the Four Seasons Resort Lana'i, The Lodge at Koele

Our stay at the Four Seasons Resort Lana'i, The Lodge at Koele had been amazing thus far, but we were blown away when we dined at The Terrace.  Not only was the service excellent, but the food and drink were remarkable.

We always appreciate a great kids' menu and the selection at the Terrace was extensive.  The Terrace offers standard kids' fare like chicken nuggets and hot dogs, but also a delicious fresh mahi mahi as well.

I started off with a delicious Maui onion soup and the spicy yuzu poke topping the furikake rice musubi was our family's favorite.  The sautéed mushrooms and broccolini paired perfectly with the char-grilled Wagyu skirt steak.

The Wagyu steak was fantastic.  It was melt in your mouth good.  My daughter said she was stuffed but just couldn't pass up the steak because it was so good.  Here's her reaction: Mmmmmmm!

The desserts at the Terrace all sounded so impressive, but we were able to narrow it down to three: a baked coconut cheesecake, an upside down apple tart, and a s'mores Waialua chocolate cake.  From presentation to taste, all three were perfectly executed.

The Terrace is located in the Lodge's lobby and has a wonderful ambience.  The service here is lovely as everyone really takes care of you.  I loved that everyone is made to feel welcomed.  My son even made friends with the hostess.

Hurry! You have until the end of the year to stay at the Four Seasons Resort Lana'i, The Lodge at Koele and enjoy dinner at The Terrace.  The Lodge will not be available for bookings in 2015 as they will be housing the transformation team working on the Manele Bay renovation project, but they have many great dining events in store for the holiday season.

Thank you to the Four Seasons Resorts Lana'i for hosting our dinner.  Gratuity was paid on my own.  All opinions are entirely my own.
