If the items are made locally, even better!
Here is a list of my Top 10 Washington Omiyage recommendations:
- Metropolitan Market Baked Goods - Metropolitan Market, a supermarket chain in Seattle, offers lots of local goodies (I bought most of the omiyage from this store on my most recent trip to Seattle), as well as items made in-house, like the Chocolate Caramel Grahams. I'm not usually a fan of caramel, but these were addicting!
- Cougar Mountain Baking Company Cookies - These cookies are soft, chewy, and delicious!
- Seattle Chocolates Truffle Bars - Meltaway Mint Truffle Bar is my favorite, but they also make great bite-size truffles!
- Sahale Snacks - They offer flavorful combinations of nuts, fruits, herbs, and seasonings.
- Theo Chocolate Bars - Whether you like your chocolate milk, dark, or with eclectic ingredients (e.g. chili or coconut curry), Theo Chocolate has the perfect bar for you!
- Pop! Gourmet Popcorn - Sweet, spicy, salty, or cheesy - you'll find an abundance of flavor options offered by Pop! Gourmet Popcorn.
- Tom Douglas Rubs - Perfect for chicken, pork, salmon, or seafood, and even great in dips, on popcorn, or mixed in salads. The rubs are very versatile.
- Snoqualmie Falls Candy Factory Taffy - The candy factory makes all sorts of treats, but their taffy - in flavors such as Amaretto, Tutti Frutti, Chocolate, and Pumpkin - is hard to resist!
- Boehms Candies - Offering a variety of confections to delight any chocolate lover.
- Dry Soda Drinks - Sodas with less sugar than "regular" sodas, and with refreshing flavors like Cucumber, Lavender, and Vanilla Bean with less sugar than regular sodas - it's no wonder why Dry Soda continues to grow in popularity.
