My staycation at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach a few months ago was my first staycation in 7 years.

It was such a great staycation, which made me realize I need to take staycations more often, and I would gladly stay at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach again!
Here are my top 10 reasons why I loved staying at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach:
- Service with Aloha: From the moment we drove up to the hotel, until we drove back home, every staff member provided excellent service. Everyone we encountered throughout our entire stay greeted us warmly and exemplified the spirit of aloha.
- Amazing views: We were fortunate to stay in an Oceanfront room, and the views were simply amazing.
- Lovely room: Our room was clean and comfortable. I loved the decor and how it was nicely-sized with more than enough room for our family.
- Steps from Waikiki Beach: The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is located - where else? - right on Waikiki Beach, which means you are only steps away from your hotel room to the famous beach.
- Great restaurants on property: There are great dining options on-site, and we dined at two of them -Hula Grill Waikiki and Duke's Waikiki. At both places we really enjoyed the food and the service was great.
- Beachfront pool: Even with the beach just steps away, we loved hanging out at the pool, which had a beautiful view of Waikiki beach.
- Soundproofing: I could barely hear any neighboring guests, the music from the restaurant below, or any other outside noise, which meant I slept very well!
- In the heart of Waikiki: The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is near numerous other shops, restaurants, attractions, and more. It was nice to take a stroll down Kalakaua Avenue in the evening, and dine at other shops and check out other stores.
- Live entertainment: Duke's Waikiki offers live entertainment daily. It was nice to be able to sit on the beach, at the pool, or even on our balcony to hear the beautiful sounds of Hawaii's musicians.
- Hawaiian history on display: In the Cultural Corner in the lobby are numerous items integral to Hawaii's history, such as poi pounders, candlesticks, and even a canoe.
