Visit Phoenix: The Haymaker Restaurant Co.

While in the Goodyear area of Arizona, we passed by The Haymaker Restaurant Co. a few times, and decided to dine there for dinner one evening.

Fried Zucchini
B.L.A.T. Sandwich

Boneless Wings

Kids Kraft Mac N Cheese

Kids Chicken Tenders

Pecan Bread Pudding
Apple Delight
Happy Hour was going on when we arrived, so we took advantage and ordered the Fried Zucchini for $5, and my husband had the wings for his dinner (also at $5).

I ordered the B.L.A.T. Sandwich with Onion Rings. Although I was disappointed that the sandwich came with only four onion rings, the sandwich itself was great - Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, and a Deep-Fried Tomato were served on Texas Toast.

Kids meals were just $5 each and came with an entree, side and a drink.

The desserts were a steal at just $4 each, and of the two my favorite was the bread pudding. It was absolutely delicious!

Our server mentioned she was fairly new, but I thought she was very friendly, and although she did forget to give my husband his credit card back after he paid the bill (he was able to find her shortly thereafter to get it back), and there were times where she was busy in the bar area and took a while to see us in the restaurant, overall service was good.

The food was great, and the prices are very reasonable.

I'd definitely dine there again the next time I'm in the area!
