Ola at Turtle Bay Resort

Located right on the beach, Ola at Turtle Bay Resort focuses on the use of local fare to create delicious dishes, and it's where we had lunch on the last day of our staycation at Turtle Bay.

Keiki GMO-Free Edamame
Keiki Kabocha Pumpkin Hummus & Veggies

Keiki Grilled Fresh Island Fish Taco

Keiki Parmesan Cream Pasta Primavera with Sugar Snap Peas, Edamame, & Julienne Carrots

Kona Burger
Kalua Pork Sandwich

Warm Molokai Sweet Bread Pudding

Keiki Ice Cream Sundae

I had the Kalua Pork Sandwich, which consisted of Maui Grilled Onion, Kona Coffee BBQ Sauce, and Molokai Sweet Bread.  It was a very tasty sandwich, and the BBQ sauce gave it a nice tang.

My husband really liked his Kona Burger, which was made from Grass-Fed Molokai Beef, and topped with Cheddar Cheese, Carmalized Maui Onions, and Kona Coffee BBQ Sauce.

Maya Rose's 3-Course Keiki Menu offered a lot of food (on colorful plates!) for $10.95.  Kids had an appetizer (edamame or hummus & veggies), an entree (other choices in addition to the items picture above were Beef Sliders and Furikake Crusted Salmon), dessert, and a beverage.

My middle son had fish tacos for the first time and he really enjoyed it.  My oldest ate up the entire bowl of pasta, and my youngest couldn't get enough of the fries.

All of my sons wanted Milk & Cookies for dessert, but unfortunately they didn't have any, so they ended up getting sundaes, which made for a great substitution.

The bread pudding was really thick and delicious.  The accompanying ice cream made it even that much more indulgent.

Service was great, the views gorgeous, and lunch at Ola was a perfect ending to a wonderful staycation at Turtle Bay Resort.
