Teen Titans Go!: Appetite for Disruption Season 2 Part 1 Synopsis
In Season 2 Part 1, the Teen Titans return with a whole new bevy of baddies, beverages and adventures! Partner up with Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy to defend Jump City against slimy monsters, tyrannical villains and of course, crime fighting induced hunger pains. Every vote counts when the Teen Titans hold team leader elections, Beast Boy dials up the “man-factor” with his new robotic limbs, while Raven races to save the cotton candy bushes from the Gumdrop Goblin. It’s a titan red alert with 26 gut-punching, gut-busting adventures in this all-new collection.
My kids (ranging in ages from 4 to 8) have recently become fans of Teen Titans Go! Whenever it plays on the Cartoon Network, all 3 of my kids watch intently. They enjoy watching the 5 roomies and the silly situations they find themselves in, and the characters and all of their quirks are just fun to watch.
Teen Titans Go! Appetite for Disruption consists of 2 DVDs with 4 hours worth of episodes (at 11 minutes each), many of which were my kids' favorites; others they watched for the first time.
One of their favorite episodes was Salty Codgers, in which all of the characters, except for Raven, turned old. The kids thought it was funny when Raven kept kissing all the old people, and when the older Titans kept asking "Huh?" "What?" so much that it turned into a funny song.
I See You was another favorite, which was all about a fake stakeout. The kids laughed when a "flashback" episode was shown where Cyborg and Beast Boy did not do so well on a stakeout.
My youngest son, who may not get all of the jokes, really enjoys Teen Titans Go! He giggled through Pirates (especially when they kept showing "Pie Rats" on the screen), and through the Man Person episode - when Beast Boy's bandages would get unwrapped and his friends would have really funny reactions.
Even my older kids sometimes don't get the humor and sarcasm, but I find a lot of what the characters say and do quite funny!
And besides, my kids simply love watching Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy and all the zany adventures they go on.
