I am a huge fan of burgers and have been wanting to try
out Village Burger in Kamuela for awhile now. This past trip to the Big Island, I drove to
Village Burger straight from the Kona airport, which took about 45 minutes.
Parking was easy to find at the Parker Ranch Center and you'll easily spot Village Burger in the food court because it's the one with the very long line.
Village Burger offers meat burgers, fish burgers, and veggie burgers so there is something for everyone. I ordered the Kahua Ranch Wagyu Beef Burger cooked medium. Their beef and veal are pasture raised in Hawaii and are free of hormones and antibiotics. The burgers are made daily and cooked to order.
The burger was absolutely delicious, juicy and cooked perfectly. It lives up to the hype and definitely worth the drive.

Village Burger is also known for their milkshakes which uses Tropical Dreams super premium ice cream made right on the Big Island. They offer strawberry, chocolate and vanilla.
The only downside of Village Burger were the fries. My order of the twice cooked fries must have been cooked too long because they were too hard to eat. No love lost there because the burger more than made up for the lackluster fries.

Village Burger is definitely a must when visiting the Big Island.
