My intention was not to make a 4th of July inspired dessert, but that's what happened when I ran out of time and didn't let each layer set long enough. As a result, the top layer of blue jello mixed with the condensed milk layer. After emitting a few expletives, I decided to just go with it and mixed it for a marble effect.
In any case, the finger jello was a hit and tasted delicious! Follow the recipe here and use any colors that strike your fancy.
