Visit Maui: Maui Ocean Treasures - Maui Ocean Center's Gift Shop

No trip to the Maui Ocean Center would be complete without stopping by their impressive gift shop, Maui Ocean Treasures.  They not only carry ocean related gifts, but they stock a wide array of gift items ranging from jewelry to coffee to musical instruments.  And if you are kicking yourself for not getting that lotion from the Lavender Farm all the way back in Kula, you're in luck because Maui Ocean Treasures carries a variety of Made in Maui products from businesses like the Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm and Haleakala Creamery.

Let's start with the huge kids' section where you will find all sorts of toys, books, and clothing.

The gift shop features Earth Nymph, an Australian brand of children's clothing.  They offer super cute onesies and bibs for little ones as well as t-shirts for older children.

They also carry an extensive line of sea life toys made by Safari Ltd.  The toy company's mission is to teach children the importance of nature and conservation through the joy of imaginative play.  The toy figures are well made and designed as realistically as possible.

Be sure to check out their wall of animal plushes.  Cade was in love with the oversized octopus!  Inside the kids' section, is a children's library stocked with books including NAI'A TO THE RESCUE which was illustrated by Michael Ogata, a Maui Ocean Center staff member.

The store (almost 4,000 square feet of shopping space!) is home to jewelry, fine art work, library, pantry (my favorite) and so much more.

I was so excited to see all the yummy items the pantry offered!  Popular items include Maui coffee, Maui Cookie Lady cookies, and Maui Fudge!

Shoppers will love the Maui Ocean Treasures gift shop.  It is a one stop shop for all your gift giving and souvenir needs.  Kama'aina, be sure to ask about your kama'aina discount.  You can also order from the gift shop online!  They offer free shipping within the U.S. for orders over $65.
