Ala Moana Hotel Celebrates 45th Anniversary wirth $45 Rate for People Born in 1970

During the month of August, people born in 1970 can stay at the Ala Moana Hotel at the unbelievable rate of just $45 per night, as part of a special offer in celebration of its 45 years.

The Ala Moana Hotel has been a favored hotel since it opened its doors in 1970. Located in the heart of Honolulu, Ala Moana Hotel was the tallest building in Hawaii until 1990. Today, the hotel is a preferred place to stay for shoppers, business travelers, groups and many others because of the convenience of its location next to shopping, downtown Honolulu, ease of access and especially its friendly hospitality.

"We're thrilled to celebrate 45 years and this fun promotion is our way of bringing attention to this significant milestone," said Marty Milan, director of sales and marketing for Ala Moana Hotel. "We encourage Gen Xers to take advantage of this special room rate and hope that they'll enjoy memorable experiences at the Ala Moana Hotel."

Guests who book this special birthday deal will enjoy an ocean view room in the Waikiki Tower for up to seven nights maximum, in August 2015. Any guest with a birthday in the 1970 calendar year is qualified for the $45 per night room rate. Once booked, the discounted rate will be applied at check-in when a valid form of identification is presented. Local guests that are not born in 1970 can still join the celebration - an extra special kamaaina rate is available starting at $149 in the Kona Tower from August through October 2015.

Reservations for the $45 Anniversary Special are available only by calling (808) 944-4341, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Hawaiian Standard Time. For all other reservations go to alamoanahotel.com.

With quality accommodations, first-rate amenities and affordable room rates, Ala Moana Hotel is renowned for being one of the best values on Oahu. Guests can enjoy the Hawaiian sunshine on the large sundeck, and then cool down in the refreshing pool. The hotel's fitness center is upgraded with new workout machines, sauna and steam bath and in-house eateries include Plantation Café for breakfast, Royal Garden for first-class Chinese food, and The Signature Prime Steak & Seafood - featuring exceptional dining with panoramic views of the Waikiki skyline, the Pacific Ocean and west toward Pearl Harbor.
