Breakers Restaurant and Bar

The last time we went to Breakers Restaurant and Bar was almost 6 years ago.  During that visit I didn't care for what I ordered, but the service was good, and since I always give restaurants a second (and sometimes third) try, I was game for another visit.

Turkey Pesto Melt

I ordered the Turkey Pesto Melt, which included Swiss Cheese, Pesto, and Tomato.  I added Bacon for an additional cost (because everything tastes better with Bacon!), and I had to restrain myself from eating the entire sandwich - it was really delicious!

Breakers Restaurant and Bar does offer a kids menu, and the meals are reasonably-priced at $6.95 and include a drink (no free refills).  Typical kids menu fare of hot dogs, grilled cheese, and burgers are offered.  The kids menu includes activities to keep the kids busy, but my youngest son was a little disappointed that he was given a "used" menu - one that another kid had drawn and colored on!

Service was a little on the slow side and the food took a while to get to our table, but our server was friendly.

And I liked my meal A LOT more than the last time.

Overall I thought our lunch at Breakers Restaurant & Bar was good, and I think it's a great spot to dine at if you have kids.
