Peanut Butter Bars with a Chocolate Chip Cookie Crust

Yesterday I decided to make my favorite Peanut Butter Bars with a twist - I made it on a Chocolate Chip Cookie Crust.

Coincidentally, today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, so I thought this would be a great recipe to post it honor of this yummy day!

All I did was prepare one of my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipes, spread the dough in a 9x13 pan and baked for 25 minutes.

I then prepared the Peanut Butter Bars according to instructions, simply pouring the peanut butter filling onto the pan of cookies.

I refrigerated for at least 3 hours before cutting into bars.

Two desserts combined into one - chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter bars - double YUM!!
