SKY Waikiki is set to have their grand opening tonight, aiming to set a new standard for Hawaii's night life.  Last night I got a sneak peek of the invitation only event for celebrities, VIPs, and media for our Hawaii Mom Blog readers!

SKY Waikiki provides the ultimate rooftop experience with a fully interactive 7,000 square-foot venue!  SKY Waikiki features a thirty-foot video wall, boasts three full service bars, and is home to a must see SKY Deck highlighted with a custom fire pit.  The SKY Deck wrap around lanai allows guest to enjoy the stunning panoramic view of the Waikiki coastline, Diamond Head and Honolulu city lights from nineteen stories up! 

The rooftop bistro, lounge, and nightclub is owned and operated by Leighton Mau, Alika Mau, Darren Seu and Kainoa Akina.  Top of Waikiki’s Executive Chef Lance Kosaka and Director of Mixology, Jennifer Ackrill created the dishes and cocktails that will be featured on SKY Waikiki’s menu.

Don’t miss the exciting weekend events starting with tonight’s Grand Opening of SKY Waikiki featuring guest DJ Brody Jenner with additional sounds by Devin Lucien - Saturday, August 29th.  Doors open @ 9pm; $10 Cover and FREE for Locals with local ID (arrive before 10PM).  Sunday's event features The Green and Afatia Thompson.  Doors open at 4PM; $10 Cover and Free for locals before 5PM.  Resort Casual Attire, Sundresses recommended.
