I've been on acai kick lately and I wanted to get a yummy one paired with a good cup of coffee before taking my son to his Saturday morning sports class. I've been meaning to check out Surfer's Coffee Bar, a neighborhood non-profit coffee shop located in Wahiawa serving Stumptown coffee. 100% of Surfers Coffee Bar proceeds are given to local and global non-profit organizations.
We found parking in their back lot without a hitch. I was surprised to see that the café is huge! It's a really nice space for people to chill and there's even a stage where a band performs Friday nights.
In addition to their full coffee menu, they offer baked goods, juices, and acai bowls. I had a delicious almond latte with the prettiest latte art. I also ordered an acai bowl with additional toppings of strawberry and coconut. The size is very generous!
Service here was great! The volunteer staff is super friendly and the best part was having a no rush breakfast with my son.
Surfer's Coffee Bar is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7am to 9pm. This was such a great find in Wahiawa and we will definitely return!
