My friend was super concerned about dining here because to her it looked like a sketchy bar from the outside, but fear not I told her and convinced her with promises of juicy burgers and cereal milkshakes.
Franky Fresh is located next to the Big Fat Greek on Waialae Ave. Parking is hard to come by, but there is a paid lot across the street. The restaurant has both wooden picnic style seatings and counter seating and is decorated with old school boom boxes. Patrons can even play video games.
Drinks come in huge mason jars so we decided to share the cinnamon toast crunch milkshake. Other cereal milkshakes not on the menu included reese's PB cereal and cocoa puffs. The milkshake was divine! Sooooo delicious.
I ordered the Fresh Prince made with Paniolo beef and topped with portobello mushrooms, bacon, melted Swiss cheese, grilled onions, and Franky Fresh sauce. All burgers and entrees come with a salad or fries. The skinny cut fries were awesome! Perfectly crispy! My burger was everything I hoped it to be and I'm looking forward to trying out their other burgers and sandwiches real soon!
