Hapas Pizza

Pizza by the pool!

While at the Helumoa Playground at Sheraton Waikiki, I decided to pick up a pizza from Hapas Pizza, which is located right on the property.

Hapas Pizza offers a variety of pizzas to choose from, and I decided to get one of their specialty pizzas - a BBQ Chicken Pizza (tip: In the lobby of the Sheraton Waikiki you can find a Collections of Waikiki booklet with a coupon for any specialty pizza for $13.99).

Time for lunch!

I placed my order, returned to the pool, and 15 minutes later I went back to pick up the pizza - hot out of the oven.

The BBQ Chicken Pizza consisted of Naked Cow Dairy Hawaiian chili pepper cheese, Maui onions, cilantro & caramelized pineapple BBQ sauce.

It had a little kick because of the chili pepper cheese, but we all loved the pizza.  The tangy BBQ sauce and chili pepper cheese gave the pizza a really nice flavor, and it's one of the best pizzas I had in a while!

And $13.99 for an entire pizza that fed our family - what a deal!

Hapas also sells pastas, salads, and a meatball sub.

It's the perfect spot to pick up a pizza for dining by the pool or on the lanai of your hotel room!
