MW Restaurant is one of Nadia's
favorite restaurants (in addition to dining there for lunch or dinner, she goes to their
monthly tea and
special events), so naturally she wanted to go there to celebrate her (and another friend's) birthday.
Even though I tried MW Restaurant's food at events before, it was my first time at the restaurant, and I was eager to finally dine there.

I ended up ordering two appetizers for dinner - the Fried Chicken and Soy Braised Pork Belly (which I tried before at an event and really enjoyed).
The "Fried Chicken" - Pressed Jidori Chicken with a Garlic Soy Sauce, was absolutely delicious! It was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and so flavorful!
The Soy Braised Pork Belly and Bao Buns were very good too, but they seemed to be not as tasty as the first time I had it.
I had the Local Mango Shave Ice for dessert. It consisted of Haupia
Tapioca, Mochi Ice Cream, Mango Sorbet, and Shaved Mango. All of the
textures and flavors combined to make a refreshing and yummy
dessert!
It was a very pleasant and extremely memorable dinner that ended with the birthday gals getting gifted a carrot cupcake along with their personalized menus, and each one of us getting a complimentary cookie.
I'm glad I finally got to dine at MW restaurant, and hopefully I'll get to try their tea or special events sometime soon!
