Visit Kauai: Kalapaki Beach Hut

On our last day in Kauai, we decided at the last minute to eat somewhere close to the airport, and we ended up at Kalapaki Beach Hut.

Don't let the limited parking and seating deter you.  The little restaurant is crowded for a reason - great food!

I had the Kauai Taro Burger. Despite looking somewhat unappealing in color, it turned out to be so delicious! Taro is mixed together with a "unique blend of ingredients and seasonings," grilled, and served with a spicy sauce. This is definitely a great alternative for those who don't eat beef.

My husband loved Da Volcano (Jalapeno, Cheddar, and Papa G's Spicy Sauce).

Fries do not come with the burgers, but we knew my kids would have lots of leftover fries from their meals, so we didn't order any.

Keiki meals are a great deal at just $5.95 each, which include an entree, fries, and a drink.

Kalapaki Beach Hut also serves breakfast and other items, and it's a great spot to grab a delicious, reasonably-priced meal!
