My kids,
especially my son, love scary movies and thanks to Netflix are familiar with
all the episodes of the Goosebumps television series. Being big fans of the franchise, they were
very excited to see the premiere of the movie.
Excited and scared. I did my best
to reassure them that there was nothing to worry about and that it wasn’t
scary. Well, that went out the window
when I jumped at the very first scary scene.
Next thing
I know, my 4-year-old is seated in my lap with his head practically up my nose
and my 8-year-old daughter is clinging to my left arm like it’s her life line. Scared as they were, it was a very fun and
exciting scary. The movie had lots of
humor and made us laugh out loud. The
cast was great and the action had our eyes glued to the screen. My son never once got antsy as he normally
does at the movies.
The movie is rated PG and will definitely be scary for little ones, but we absolutely loved the Goosebumps movie. My son was still talking about it the next day. Opens in theaters today!

In Goosebumps, teenager Zach Cooper
