Visit Disneyland: Blue Bayou Fantasmic! Dinner Package

My family and I visited Disneyland during Hawaii's Fall Break and boy was it crowded!  Not only did we have to fight the crowds, but we had to endure the sudden heat wave!  I was very happy that we chose to experience Disney's Fantasmic! Dining Package program.  The program offers different options ranging from a grab-and-go picnic at Aladdin's Oasis to a new 3-course table service dinner offering at the Blue Bayou.

The dinner at the Blue Bayou was perfect for us because we got to enjoy a nice meal together and then had some time to play in the park before returning to our reserved section right in front of the Fantasmic! stage.  With our dinner package, we also received seat cushions which we all used during the show.

The kids' dinner comes with a Mickey shaped dessert!

Dinner was great at the Blue Bayou and I liked that there were more substantial options for the kids rather than something like chicken nuggets.  Of course, the package comes with a premium price.  Adults are $61 and children ages 3-9 are $23.  If you can afford it, I think that it is well worth it.  Because our time at Disneyland is limited, we try to optimize our time and packages like these help us save time and ensure that we have a great experience too.  After the Fantasmic! show, we stayed put and had an awesome view of the fireworks show.

Mickey ready to battle the forces of evil.

We loved the fight sequence between Captain Hook and Peter Pan on the Pirate Ship.
Snow White dances with her Prince.

Maleficent takes on her dragon form.

Disney characters wave from the Riverboat.

A special treat was the great view of the fireworks show after Fantasmic!
