Visit Polson: The Cove Deli & Pizza

The Cove Deli & Pizza was a family-friendly spot recommended by someone at the hotel we were staying at in Polson, so we decided to check it out.

The person who recommended the Cove advised that we should get a sandwich versus a pizza, so my husband and I shared The Roast, which consisted of Slow Roasted Pulled Pork, Chipotle BBQ Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, and a Homemade Jalapeño Slaw.  It was not too spicy, but it did taste good.  It was very reminiscent of Kalua Pork - the pork was very flavorful, and I loved the crunchiness from the Jalapeno Slaw.

The Goonies Menu for kids come with a snack (pack of Goldfish) and a drink of choice for just $5.50.  The entrees are listed as fun names, such as Captain Malden for the Mac and Cheese Pizza; Lil' Buccaneer for Cheese Pizza (not sure why the PB&J is called Seaweed), and a fun activity card is included with the meal.

There are a few arcade games in the restaurant to keep the kids busy.

Prices are reasonable, and it was a nice spot to grab a quick, casual dinner.
