Traveling to Seattle on Hawaiian Airlines

Waiting to board!
Our recent Pacific Northwest Road Trip started in Seattle, and we got there on our favorite airline - Hawaiian Airlines.

The airport was total chaos the morning of our flight.  We always arrive at the airport at least two hours early, and because of a super busy travel day, a malfunctioning agriculture baggage screening machine, and a down security screening machine, I'm glad we arrived early, because it took us an hour to get to the gate from the time we printed out our bag tags at the kiosk.

For those who arrived at the airport later than we did, I'm sure they were stuck in the ag or security screening line (which is why I always recommend getting to the airport early).  At departure time people were still boarding, but despite the slightly late departure, we still arrived in Seattle a few minutes early.

Onboard service was great.

For snack we were given Pau Hana Snack Mix.

For our meal we were served Teriyaki Meatballs.  They tasted okay - a little underseasoned, but nothing a little salt couldn't fix.

On the return, we had a delicious and satisfying Egg, Cheddar, and Mushroom Flatbread Breakfast Sandwich.  This was one meal that our entire family enjoyed!  The sandwich was hearty and tasty!

Towards the end of the flight we were given Sweet Maui Onion Potato Chips - my fave!

Because of strong head winds we arrived in Honolulu behind schedule, but thankfully the flight seemed to go by quickly.

We had great flights both ways, excellent service at the airport and onboard, and can't beat the complimentary meals!
