Visit Coeur d'Alene: Dockside Restaurant

We were in Idaho during my husband's birthday, and to celebrate, we decided to have a nice dinner at Dockside Restaurant.

Beer Battered Halibut Fish N'Chips
Pan Seared Ruby Red Trout

Kids Campfire Burger

Kids Chicken Strip Fritters

Kids Mac N Cheesy Pasta
Complimentary Birthday Sundae
Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Gooey

Located in the Coeur d'Alene Resort, Dockside restaurant has beautiful views of Lake Coeur d'Alene, but it was the food that really won us over.

I had the Fish N'Chips - I think it's the first time I ever ordered Fish N'Chips anywhere, and they were fantastic.  The fish was perfectly seasoned and cooked - crispy on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside.  With the accompanying Caper Cream Cheese Tartar Sauce, the fish was just amazing.

My husband enjoyed his Trout, which was served with St. Maries Idaho Wild Rice Pilaf and Vegetables.

Kids meals are reasonably priced and include a drink and a pack of gummy candy.

My husband received a complimentary ice cream sundae for his birthday, and our family ordered a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Gooey to share.

The Gooey was huge!!

It consisted of vanilla ice cream, whole and chopped Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cups, peanut butter sauce, hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, crushed peanuts, and a peanut butter lollipop.

What an indulgence!

Service was great at Dockside, and my husband had a wonderful birthday dinner.
