Wing Ice Cream Parlor

Mmmm... (photo credit Dara)
I joked with my friend Dara that she is my "ice cream soul mate."  When I asked her what her favorite kind of dessert was, she said ice cream.  I love ice cream, and I don't know anyone else (except for my kids), that loves ice cream as much as I do.

So I was excited that she wanted to go to Wing Ice Cream Parlor after we indulged in ramen one recent Sunday.

I went once almost two years ago, and she had never been to Wing, yet she was willing to brave the busy Chinatown scene and hunt down a parking space to try this place (I won't even tell you how much we both ended up paying for parking just go to eat ice cream).

After finally finding a parking spot, we went to Wing, perused the menu board, and selected our flavors - both in Sprinkle Waffle Cones!

Decisions, decisions...

Chocolate / Peanut Butter
Tea 'n' Cookies
The Chocolate / Peanut Butter was really creamy and delicious - definitely something I'd order again.

Dara really loved the Green Tea 'n' OREO Cookies Ice Cream - so much so she deemed it worthy of the crazy amount we paid for parking just to go to Wing.  She kept commenting on how the ice cream was really good - I'm not a green tea fan, so I'll take her word for it!

It's nice to see that this little shop is still scooping out delicious, homemade ice cream!
