Several years ago I bought gluten-free bread for the first time, and after going through different brands and types of gluten-free breads, I stopped buying them.
Simply put - the breads did not taste good.
But gluten-free foods have sure come a long way, and proof of that is BFree Food's Brown Seeded Loaves.
About BFree Food's Brown Seeded Loaf:
Our Brown Seeded Loaf is made with a unique blend of flours, starches, proteins and fibers with sunflower seeds and golden linseeds that give it a delicious texture and flavour with extraordinarily high fiber in each slice. This loaf is sliced on its side to give a bigger better sandwich slice. Our Brown Seeded Loaf is suitable for home freezing.
The first thing I noticed when I examined the bread was how thick and dense the bread was compared to other "regular" breads we had on hand. I honestly was a little nervous about the taste, especially when making sandwiches for the kids, but it turns out I had nothing to worry about.
I decided to make grilled cheese sandwiches for the family with the BFree Brown Seeded bread.
Grilled Cheese |
It turned out delicious! The sandwich was hearty, and had I not made the bread myself, I would've thought the sandwich was made with typical bread, versus gluten-free bread.
Its also non-GMO, egg-free, nut-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and low-in fat.
The perfect combo! |
I've since used the BFree Brown Seeded bread to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches.
And as for the littlest critics with the biggest opinions (my kids) - they ate up the sandwiches! Believe me - if they don't like the taste of something, they will not eat it, and they devoured the sandwiches.
Who knew gluten-free bread could taste so good?
Whether you follow a gluten-free diet, or simply want a tasty alternative to conventional bread, give BFree's Brown Seeded Loaf a try!
