I was excited to try Goma Tei Ramen for the first time this past weekend. I heard such great things about this place, that it made me curious. I love ramen, so my family and I decided to try Goma Tei Ramen in the Pearlridge Shopping Center.
I ordered the Wakame Tan Tan Ramen. It included Wakame (seaweed), shoyu egg and vegetable garnish. I found the soup base a little spicy. I have a very low tolerance for spicy food, but I must say that I still enjoyed it and ate it all. It's a good size portion for the price. Their five piece gyoza is delicious. The pieces are huge compared to other gyoza I've had before.
My husband ordered the Tonkatsu Tan Tan Ramen, which included Tonkatsu (pork tenderloin) and vegetable garnishes.
My twins enjoyed the Char Siu Shoyu Ramen. It included Japanese style Char Siu and vegetable garnishes.
My oldest daughter loved the Curry Loco Moco. It is served with a tender juicy Japanese style hamburger, served with Japanese style curry. Topped with an egg and served with rice.
My family and I enjoyed the food and we will be back again to try other items on the menu.
