Mr. Tea Cafe

Almond Milk Tea with boba
Mr. Tea Cafe first opened it's doors at 909 Kapiolani in July of 2014.  Their high quality ingredients and trendy mustache cups set themselves apart from the rest of the bubble tea shops.  Despite the saturation of bubble drink shops on Oahu, Mr. Tea Cafe has enjoyed much success and recently expanded with a second location in SALT, an area in Kakaako that is undergoing a major transformation thanks to the folks at Kamehameha Schools.

You can't see Mr. Tea from the street, but here's the best way to get there - proceed down Ala Moana Boulevard, and look for Sprint, Starbucks, and Highway Inn (across from the building formerly known as the Gold Bond Building). Enter the parking lot via Coral Street, look for Starbucks, then head mauka (towards the mountain) along Starbucks.  You'll see this green building (pic above) and Mr. Tea is located on the ground floor.

Mr. Tea offers different flavors of milk tea, ice tea, smoothies, specialty teas, and coffee.  Toppings such as boba, custard, jellies, ice cream, haupia, chia and azuki are available for an extra charge.  Drinks start at $3.25 and are available in two sizes (regular and large).
