Visit Whistler: Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub

One of our tour guides had advised us that Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub is a great family-friendly restaurant, even at dinner (some places in Whistler don't allow kids from the afternoon), so that's where we dined on our last evening in Whistler.

The chicken schnitzel sandwich was very good.  It consisted of a crispy, thin piece of chicken, lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion (love picked red onions!), and buffalo and ranch sauces.

I upgraded to the Rosemary Garlic fries with Bacon Chive Mayo.  I'm not sure why I did, since I actually am not a fan of rosemary, so I didn't really care for the fries, but I did eat up my kids' fries!

My husband had the lamb curry - lamb meatballs, brown basmati brice, almonds, and cilantro in a spiced sauce, which he thought was good.

The kids meal portions were nicely-sized.

The pub was crowded, and we did see several families.  It's a seat-yourself restaurant, and luckily we found a large table to fit our family of 5.

Service was great, and Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub was indeed a great spot for dinner!
