The event is free to children and students with a valid student ID, and just $5.00 for the general public.
Fairgoers of all ages will enjoy the numerous educational exhibits in the Department of Agriculture’s “Buy Local, It Matters” Pavilion. Keiki will enjoy seeing live animals including steer, goats, chickens, lamb and more on display in the 4-H Livestock Tent. There will be entertainment, demonstrations and the always popular on stage contests like watermelon eating, corn husking and chili pepper eating.
There will also be kiddie rides, bouncers and fabulous food along with some of the freshest grown produce and diverse plants at the Kamehameha School’s Country Market and Plant sale. The plant sale is hailed as one of the largest on the island.
Also, the Keiki Hands on the Farm exhibit will again give children a chance to experience what a day on the farm is like along with milking a life-sized cow (replica).
