Tropical Dreams offers many, many different types of flavors, and I had such a hard time choosing, so I asked an employee for recommendations. She said the popular flavors depend on what they have in stock, but she mentioned Blueberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Banana Macnut Caramel. Since I'm fond of caramel, I decided to get the Banana Macnut Caramel.
The caramel flavor was very light, but the banana and macadamia nut flavors really shone through. The ice cream was so rich and creamy, and just delightful.
Tropical Dreams ice cream is made on the Big Island, and there are locations not only on Kauai, but also on other neighbor islands and the mainland as well.
