Yard House - Waikiki Beach Walk

It's been about a year since I last went to Yard House.  Our last visit was a very good dining experience compared to the one before, so I was hoping our recent visit would once again be positive.

Banana Berry Rum Macadamia Nut Crumble

I opted for the BBQ Chicken Salad.  I ordered a small portion, which was actually quite large - I took home half for dinner!  It was such a delicious salad, with shredded chicken, avocado, pasilla, corn, cheese, beans, tortilla strips, cilantro, and my fave part of the salad - fried onions!

My husband enjoyed the Cuban Roast Pork sandwich, was served with a Red Mojo Dip.

The Kids Meals offer a drink, side, entree, and dessert at a reasonable price.  A variety of options are available to choose from, such as Pizza, Mac & Cheese, Barbecue Chicken, Korean Barbecue Beef, and Fried Chicken Strips.  My kids chose the Cookies and Cream Crunch Pop for dessert.

I also wanted dessert, so I chose the Banana Berry Rum Macadamia Nut Crumble.  It was so yummy, especially with the toasted coconut ice cream on top!

Although the food took quite a while to come out (we were the first ones seated at 11:00am, and the first dish did not come out until 11:42am), our server was great.

Despite how long it took for the food to get to us, we still had an overall nice lunch.
