I had a great experience the first time I dined at the recently-opened
Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ in Mililani. I took advantage of a lot of the Happy Hour specials, and after finding out Happy Hour is all day on Mondays and Thursdays, I decided to go back with the rest of the family on a Thursday.

The only items not on the Happy Hour Menu were the Smoked Pork Bibimbap and Garlic Chicken Wings.
The Bibimbaps were so good! The Sukiyaki Bibimbap included sukiyaki beef, onions, mushroom, egg, and a very flavorful BBQ Sauce. I really enjoyed the Smoked Pork Bibimbap, which also had kim chee to give it a lot of spiciness.
Our server was super friendly, but we did have some issues with the menus. First, the kids were not given kid's menus (which also happened the first time I went), so we had to ask for them.
And then there were no Happy Hour menus! We ended up looking up the Happy Hour menu online, and our server eventually came back with a post-it with all the Happy Hour menu items (without prices).
Also, one of the items was not priced at the Happy Hour price when we got our check, but it was quickly remedied.
The food was great, and although there were a few service issues, I'm sure we'll be back again soon.
