Aunty's Ramen

Formerly known as Sweet Home Aunty, Aunty's Ramen allows hungry patrons to build their own bowl of ramen by customizing broth and noodle choices as well as selecting from baskets and baskets of fillings.  You'll have your choice of veggies, seafood, meats, and more.

Get here early as parking and tables fill up fast.  When you enter the restaurant, ask for an assigned table and then grab a basket and fill it up to your heart's content.  Depending on how long the cashier line is, you will have some time to mentally select your broth and noodles.  Be ready because there are 10 broth options and 9 varieties of noodles to choose from.

There were about 4 more of these refrigerators filled with ingredients for your bowl!

Not a fan of noodles?  No worries, you can turn your bowl of ingredients into a stir fry!  You'll also have a chance to select a meat card that's hanging near the register.  They offer beef, chicken, pork, pork belly, beef tongue, and lamb for $2 per order.

Easy as 1-2-3!

I like spicy so I went with the red soup that has a beef base with chili, ginger, garlic, basil, parsley and onions.  I added pork and rice noodles to my basket of veggies.  They currently charge $7.50 per half pound and have a $7.50 minimum per person policy.
If you have any left over soup, you have the option to pack it for home.

Before

After!

As for the shave ice bar, my eyes were wide from the choices of toppings, but ultimately I was super let down they were no longer serving mochi.  Even so, Aunty's Ramen is a great lunch option and I will definitely be back.

Lots to choose from.

But, no mochi. :(
