For my first Bundt cake, I decided to try a Chocolate Chip Pound Cake recipe I found on Taste of Home.
The glaze hardened and cracked after a few minutes, but the end result was super yummy.
I can't wait to try out new recipes!
Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake
Ingredients:

- 1 c butter, softened
- 2 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 4 c all-purpose flour
- 4 t baking powder
- 1 t baking soda
- 2 c sour cream
- 2 c semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 c semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 T butter
- 1-1/4 c confectioners' sugar
- 3 T 2% milk
- 1/2 t vanilla extract
Directions:
- Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and baking soda together.
- Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately to sugar mixture; be sure to mix well after each addition.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-in. Bundt pan.
- Bake at 350° for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool for at least 10 minutes before removing cake from pan to a wire rack.
- Meanwhile, in a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter.
- Add confectioners' sugar, milk and vanilla, and whisk until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over cake.
