New to Kaka'ako: Flour + Butter Bakery

I've always got room in my heart and on my plate for new cupcakes, so when a new bakery started popping up on my IG feed, I was very intrigued!  Located next door to The Rice Place in The Imperial Plaza in Kaka'ako, Flour + Butter is a family run business offering an array of beautiful cupcakes, colorful macarons, parfaits, and much more!

As you can see, it was not going to be easy to make a decision!

Miraculously, we were able to narrow it down to four delectable flavors.  The first was The Chocoholic.  The chocolate sprinkles were just calling my name.  While the cupcake could have been moister, the rich and creamy frosting was chocolate perfection. 

In my family we are big pumpkin fans so we loved this maple pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese frosting.  The cupcake was especially moist and Cade loved the candied pumpkin decoration.

The other two flavors were the lemon blueberry and the Black Hawaiian Lava Salted Caramel.  Again the chocolate cupcake was not as moist as the lemon blueberry, but was my daughter's favorite.  I liked the lemon blueberry cupcake the best because of the taste and texture.  

Loving this cute bakery and looking forward to returning to try out their many macarons and other goodies!  They are also available for custom cake orders.
