We recently joined the PBS Hawai‘i Keiki Club after hearing that club members get invites to special events that are by invitation only, including meet and greets with PBS show characters like Curious George and Daniel Tiger. Membership is only $30 per year per child (it is considered a donation to PBS), and it includes:
- Fun-tabulous welcome pack full of goodies
- Special birthday card and surprise present
- On-air birthday greeting
- Quarterly newsletter filled with games, puzzles and loads of fun
- Special invitations to exclusive Club events
Here's what was included in the welcome pack we received in the mail:
The first special event we attended was their annual Keiki Club Costume Party, which was held at their new facility in Kalihi.
The event started with numerous arts and crafts stations for the kids
a magic show....
and a photo op with Daniel Tiger!
They also gave away snacks and a goodie bag for each keiki club member at the end of the event.
We can't wait to attend future events!
