Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa is offering guests a special opportunity to experience whale season with its new seasonal package, “Sea S’more Whales,” available for travel dates between January 1, 2017 and April 15, 2017.
“Sea S’more Whales” combines relaxing and fun experiences like the resort’s beachside s’mores and the exclusive Na Hoku Club Lounge, during the most magical time of year to visit Maui, when humpback whales can be seen spouting and breaching offshore.
Upon arrival, guests will receive Sheraton Maui binoculars and the resort’s signature local s’mores kit featuring flavors of Hawaii, with fresh sliced pineapple, strawberries, bananas, chopped macadamia nuts, sweet coconut flakes, li hing mui sugar, Maui cookies, chocolates, marshmallows and graham crackers. Guests can relax and roast s’mores at the oceanfront fire pits while gazing through their binoculars for whale tale splashes offshore.
The package also includes access to Na Hoku Club Lounge, which serves complimentary daily enhanced continental breakfast and nightly pupus (appetizers) and drinks. Na Hoku Club Lounge is perched atop Black Rock and provides panoramic views of the Pacific, making it a perfect place to see whales playing in the distance.
Twenty-five dollars from every package booked will be donated to Maui’s Pacific Whale Foundation’s adopt-a-whale program, supporting ongoing whale research. As part of the donation, guests will receive a personalized adoption certificate, story of an individual whale and map with sightings of the whale.
