Christmas in Polynesia

Until December 22, families can visit the Polynesian Cultural Center (one of my favorite attractions on the island) for some festive fun!

Polynesian Cultural Center's Fresh Water Lagoon has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland, where guests are guided on a Holiday Canoe Ride ($5, or free with `Ohana Club Membership) past colorful lights and a huge, dazzling Christmas tree.

But there are more than just lights - a couple of Christmas performances take place, enhancing the entire experience.

Another activity the entire family can participate in is the Train Ride.  A quick Train Ride ($3) past the lagoon was a bit like a mini roller coaster ride, as kids squealed with excitement as the train went over tiny hills.  The ride gives guests a different perspective of the lagoon lights.

On the evening we went, Hawaiian Ice presented a Snow Day.

Kids lined up for their chance at making snowballs and playing in the "snow" for a few minutes at a time.

There are also free photo ops with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a Hukilau Marketplace Scavenger Hunt, hula performances, and more!

It was a super fun night for the entire family!
